Waste not! Use the trimmings from biscuit dough for a fried treat

Makes 1-2 servings

biscuits scraps

1/2c veggie or canola oil

1/4c sugar

optional mix-ins: orange zest, lemon zest, cinnamon, minced rosemary

Heat oil in large saucepan over medium high heat. Cut biscuit scraps into bite-sized pieces. Fry in the oil until golden brown, turning once. Toss right into sugar and coat lightly and evenly. Serve immediately.
