BAKED HONEY DONUTS WITH GOUDA

Light & moist honeyed donuts topped with gooey melted gouda cheese

Makes 6 Donuts

 

1c gluten-free flour

1tsp baking powder

1/2tsp salt

1 egg

1/4c almond milk

1/2tsp vanilla

1/4c canola oil

1/4c honey

6 thick slices gouda cheese

 

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease well a donut pan. In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour thru salt. In a separate smaller bowl, combine egg thru honey. Gently mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined. Pour the batter into the donut tin, should fill the pan all the way.

 

Bake 8min or until golden brown along the edges and just firm, then top each donut with a slice of cheese and broil for 1-2min until melted. Serve immediately.
